Monster Run is a little demo I made primarily to test dynamic audio fading and panning in Flash (more evident when wearing headphones).

Other things possibly worth pointing out are the weeds that dynamically animate when the character touches them, and the character’s shadow which fades out when the monster jumps.

I was also doing a bit experimentation with key framing animation using the Flash tools and kind of dig the multiple layers of parallax.

Oh, and if the platforms suddenly turn black for no reason – that’s a ‘feature’.
